The People
For years, Jon and Sam felt like they were drowning. Bills stacked up faster than they could pay them, and even though they worked hard, life had placed them in a financial corner.
They were three years behind on property taxes. A public auction (foreclosure) notice had already been served. Both were in a consumer proposal, their credit ratings were down to the gutter, and they carried the weight of credit cards, personal loans, and two mortgages. The rejections from lenders weren’t just about money—they carried a heavy emotional toll.
Every day felt like a battle between responsibility and exhaustion. With a household take-home pay of around $6,000, nearly $4,400 went straight to housing costs, taxes, and utilities. On top of that, they supported a dependent family member. After everything, they had only about $1,000 left for groceries, gas, and the rest of life’s needs.
They were stretched thin, ashamed to talk about their finances, but deep down—still hopeful.
The Turning Point
When Jon and Sam came to me, what they wanted was simple, human, and universal: peace of mind.
They didn’t want luxury or shortcuts. They wanted:
✅ One manageable payment
✅ Relief from the weight of high-interest debt
✅ A chance to keep their home
✅ A path to rebuild their credit and dignity
And together, that’s exactly what we made happen.
The After
After working together for over a month, we were able to secure a new mortgage which was used to consolidate all of their outstanding debts and save a significant amount of money every month.
Their property tax was paid in full.
The public auction was canceled.
Their consumer proposal was cleared, opening the door to credit rebuilding sooner.
Their new monthly payment dropped to $2,465.
That’s a savings of roughly $1,170 every month—over $14,000 every year.
Imagine the difference: from constant anxiety, counting down to the next bill, to finally breathing deeply without fear of the mailbox.
Relief: The crushing weight of debt lifted off their shoulders.
Security: Knowing their home is safe, no auction looming.
Pride: Taking back control of their financial story.
Hope: A clear path forward—not just to survive, but to thrive.
This isn’t just about numbers. It’s about something much more significant, the basic human desire to have safety, stability, and freedom.
These are the foundations we all strive to build. When those needs are met, everything else—love, family, growth—has room to flourish.
A Brighter Tomorrow
Today, Jon and Sam look ahead with optimism. Instead of lying awake at night worrying about bills, they’re planning for their future. They know rebuilding their credit is possible, and with over $14,000 a year back in their pocket, they can dream again.
And here’s the truth: this is possible for you, too.
If you’re feeling the weight of multiple payments, struggling with poor credit, or frustrated with banks that don’t understand you and your struggle—know that there are solutions. You don’t have to carry this stress forever.
